Seeing Comfort Differently: The Story of Scleral Lenses
For some patients, ordinary contact lenses simply aren’t enough.
Whether it’s due to keratoconus, irregular corneas, severe dry eye or corneal conditions, achieving clear and comfortable vision can sometimes be a challenge.
That’s where scleral lenses can make a remarkable difference.
Unlike conventional contact lenses, scleral lenses are larger in diameter and gently vault over the cornea, resting on the white part of the eye. The space between the lens and the cornea is filled with a layer of preservative-free saline, creating a smooth optical surface while helping to protect and hydrate the eye.
For many patients, the result is more than improved vision — it’s greater comfort, confidence and freedom in everyday life.

EnChroma Colour Vision Lenses
At Thinc Vision, we offer EnChroma lenses for suitable patients with certain types of red-green colour vision deficiency.
EnChroma lenses use specialised optical filters designed to reduce colour confusion and help some people distinguish a broader range of colours and shades. They are not a cure for colour blindness, and results vary from person to person.
